Hugh Evans

Before founding Enterprise Architects in 2002 Hugh built the data warehousing practice for an IT consultancy in Melbourne and worked with several IT firms in software development and project management. He now manages the Enterprise Architects portfolio of businesses and works with the executive team to develop customer & partner relationships. Hugh also holds directorships with several technology companies in social media, online travel and in international sports promotions.

Mac has an extensive career spanning the services and corporate sectors. With local and international experience, the earlier part of Mac’s career saw functional roles in operations, software development, systems architecture and technical consulting followed by management roles in architecture, product management, strategic planning and consulting services. Mac has formerly worked with Telstra in executive roles driving IT strategy and architecture; implementing processes for the management of Telstra’s technology architecture, delivering strategies for the adoption of emerging technology and building an internal consulting organisation to deliver strategy, architecture and design services for Telstra’s commercial products. Beyond Telstra Mac has provided executive level consulting & advisory services in mining, energy, media, banking & insurance industries. 

 

 

Craig Martin

Craig has been focused on the enterprise architecture discipline since 1995. Formerly a senior manager at Accenture and head of the media and entertainment market unit, Craig founded a 50-man enterprise architecture and SOA consulting practice in South Africa before joining Enterprise Architects in 2009.

 

Craig has both local and international experience in planning and delivering architecture solutions. He has been working with TOGAF since 2001 and is an active contributor to the development of architecture standards in the industry. He has developed and delivered advanced and applied enterprise architecture training and kick-start programs as well as delivering architecture consulting services for blue chip clients across the globe. He is considered a leader in the field of architecture innovation within the patterns and systemic space.

 

 

Maire Ruane

Maire leads the recruitment division, focusing on exceptional standards of service delivery and integrating our organisational expertise in architecture practice into the recruitment process. As well as her experience in the search industry, Maire has worked in finance, government and web marketing businesses. She has worked with local and international employers include Commerzbank (London), The Futures Group (London) and Morgan and Banks/Hudson (Melbourne). Maire's business expertise is supported by academic qualifications in Business and Commerce from respected universities in both Ireland and Germany.

 

 

David Wright

David has extensive experience in business technology strategy, enterprise architecture and management of large scale implementation and transformation programs. David has built and managed enterprise architecture and design practices in bluechip organisations & understands how to position major technology initiatives at an executive level. His background with major corporates and consulting firms provides him with the insights to understand what clients expect from their architecture recruitment, consulting and training partner. David’s focus is on ensuring client satisfaction across all EA’s service lines. He is ITIL and TOGAF certified and is a qualified accountant.

 

 

 

John Gigacz
Chief Operating Officer

During a 30 year career John has been in senior IT management and architecture roles, including Chief Architect at Sensis, and Chief Architect at Telstra.com and Telstra Online. He has consulted across a range of industries including telecommunications, utilities, retail, banking and finance, and government. John has a Bachelor of Science degree and an MBA from Melbourne Business School and is a TOGAF 9 certified practitioner.
